 Finding the right medical help

There are five nurse led walk-in centres in South West London. See below for a list of local centres or use our services search to look more widely.

If you have a minor ailment and aren’t near your GP, you can choose to get help from a walk-in centre rather than using A&E. Walk-in centres offer fast access to health advice, emergency contraception and treatment for minor ailments, infections, or injuries such as cuts, strains, sprains and broken bones. Walk-in centres are available to everyone and patients do not need an appointment. Most centres are open 365 days a year and outside office hours.

Some walk-in centres offer access to doctors as well as nurses, however they are not designed for treating long-term conditions or immediately life-threatening problems and are not suitable for those under two years old.
