Out-of-hours GP, dental and pharmacy services are available in South West London, but these may vary depending on your location. Read below for details.

Out-of-hours GP and dental services are for urgent medical attention is required and should only be contacted if you can’t wait until the next day to be treated.

GPs

Outside normal surgery hours you can still phone your GP, but you will be directed to an out-of-hours service. The out-of-hours period is from 6.30pm to 8.00am on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays.

Check to see if your surgery offers extended hours and consider visiting your local GP led health centre, open 8am-8pm 365 days a year.

• Croydon - For urgent medical help when your GP practice is closed at night or over the weekend, phone the surgery on the usual number and listen to the message specifying the out-of-hours number.

• Croydon - Croydent, the Croydon emergency dental service, is available seven nights a week for registered and unregistered patients. To make an appointment phone 0845 000 4567. Appointments are available at the following times:
  Monday to Sunday: 6.30pm to 10pm Public holidays: 3.30pm to 7pm Christmas Day: 10am to 1.30pm

  If you need urgent care at the weekend, the emergency dental service at Princess Alexandra Wing, Kingston Hospital, will provide pain relief and treat emergencies for people at weekends and bank holidays between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
